Huddersfield community samba band.
Established in September 2005, Slick Stick Sambastic is a community band based at Huddersfield University. Open to community members and students alike, the group rehearse weekly and welcome all levels of skill and experience. Under the direction of Maggie O'Keeffe, a wide variety of Brazilian rhythms are taught including Rio Samba, Samba Reggae, Afro-Cuban/Brazilian and Ijexa.
