About Got2Groove

Got2Groove provide quality samba percussion workshops for schools and community groups of all ages. Got2Groove are committed to the value of samba as a language, an educational tool and a means for personal development.

The company is driven by artistic director Maggie O'Keeffe who has over 10 years experience as an artist in a community context as well as performing extensively as a professional vocalist and percussionist.

Maggie is founder member of Big Bad Bata (6-piece world music ensemble), Happy City Samba School (Dublin), Yemanja (a-cappella world music group), Munch (youth samba school), and is currently musical director of Huddersfield's community samba band, Slick Stick Sambastic.
